This Russian saying reminds me of former Dean Honny, sitting comfortably on a monobloc chair talking about uncontrived art, the ‘beauty in imperfection’ and his love, Japanese aesthetics. I was 18 or 19 years old then, so eager to learn but still too impulsive to fully appreciate the profundity of his eloquent discourse on art.
